After watching last five IPL matches most of the cricket lovers in India are now doubting that if IPL real or fake or fixed ? For eg Last night Royal Rajasthan needed 17 runs in last 6 balls with tail enders facing the ball .... at the given situation any of worst bowler in world wouldn't have balled a full Toss.... but one of worlds best rated cricketer Andrew Symonds has done it .....so this lead to many conspiracy theories
Was match Fixed?
As per bookies estimation , IPL match generates around 400 crores thru illegal betting in India ... more over since IPL is not governed by ICC Anti Corruption committee many of players can be lured by bookies with big money without any fear ... also a close watch on the odds given by bookies support this theory

Result Royal Rajasthan won match.. Upsetting many pundits … making most punters to go bankrupt…
Is IPL fake
TV viewership ( TRP rating ) and ticket sales for IPL depends on thrill and interest each match generates ….. So is IPL following WWF path … where the wrestlers fake actions and aggression and every action is staged in advance ….so are players told in advance what do and how to do it by big boss …… since IPL is new concept this theory cannot be also ruled out … in that case the BCCI is taking India cricket fans/public for a ride …. This would be bad for world cricket in long run ….
With involvement of Politicians, industrialist, celebrities and cricket ikons in IPL…… and 7000 Crore at stake on IPL Shoulders anything is possible ,,,,,, hence forth indian public should be careful and not take IPL too serious ,,,,, also betting angle needs to be investigated by CBI ….

Since this is the begining of the IPL matches, it is very difficult to say match fixing is playing its bad role in here,though the elememt "Match Fixing" cannot be denied down in the near future which may hit IPL badly.The shorter the format, the higher the potential risk that a single performance can affect the overall result. The shorter the format, the more posbility it wil be for batters to be dismissed in a reckless manner, bowler to throw weiredly all across the stumps.On the flipside of it is that the game moves so quick, it is difficult for parties to manipulate outcomes and adjust odds as the game progresses.
One more argument is that young players who are joining different franchises in the IPL, could be subject to attention by the bookies as they have no prior experience of dealing with such issues at the international level. No body, including welknown players like Andrew,(Symonds) would spoil their future and reputation for the money they would get out of it.
These kinds of absurd arguements pops up in our mind, if a team performs much better than expected or does not perform up to the mark as antcipated by it's fans.
